At Statesboro High School (Bulloch County Schools), student performance on Georgia’s Math End of Course Test (EOCT) state assessment grew from 38 percent to 70 percent – an improvement of 84 percent. Two teachers (Jake Collins and Diana Johnson) established a successful strategy involving their Professional Learning Community (PLC), development of common assessments, and using Illuminate’s Data and Assessment platform to create a data-informed culture leading to outstanding results in student achievement.
