Dr. Amy Jackson

Dr. Amy Jackson

Dr. Amy Jackson is the Vice President of Learning & Development at Illuminate Education. She also serves as an adjunct in Johns Hopkins University's School of Education, teaching Masters-level courses in curriculum and instruction. Prior to joining Illuminate, Amy built a professional learning program used internationally for the Department of Energy and also served as a teacher and district-level administrator.

Dr. Sarah Brown

Dr. Sarah Brown is the Executive Director of Professional Learning at Illuminate Education. Her work focuses on implementing MTSS at multiple levels of the education system and improving systems to support high achievement for every student. Before joining the Illuminate team, Dr. Brown led special education and MTSS implementation for the state of Iowa as a bureau chief at the Iowa Department of Education and worked as a special education director and school psychologist. She is co-author of the book Effective Universal Instruction: An Action-Oriented Approach to Improving Tier 1.
