Iowa Department of Education Adopts FastBridge

FastBridge Learning is pleased to announce that the Iowa Department of Education has selected FastBridge as the universal screening and progress monitoring tool for reading in kindergarten through sixth grade. FAST will be implemented at nearly 350 school districts throughout Iowa.

Ted Christ, PhD and the Director of FastBridge Learning was please with the announcement. “It has been our goal to build the best assessment tools available. Having the Iowa Department of Education select FAST in a competitive bid process shows that we are achieving this goal. We now look forward to implementing FastBridge so teachers throughout Iowa can spend less time assessing and more time teaching.”

FastBridge will be used to screen and monitor approximately 250,000 students in Iowa. The FastBridge implementation will include earlyReading™, aReading™ and CBM-Reading™.
