Illuminate Education is a market-leading Software as a Service (SaaS) student assessment and reporting platform used by K-12 administrators and educators to measure, analyze, and subsequently improve classroom and school-wide learning.
- Manage the development and maintenance of our content management system supporting 50-100 item writers, copy editors, illustrators, and content leads at any given time.
Own and maintain Agile backlog of development priorities.
Target and project manage work over two week sprints.
Gather requirements from internal stakeholders and write functional specifications for new development.
Oversee and/or perform QA of new features and bug fixes.
Serve as escalation point for first responder team on CMS issues.
Manage rollout of new features to users.
Direct the work of an overseas development team.
- 4+ years product management experience with web-based software.
Experience with Agile development approach.
Experience with workflow software.
Experience in education a plus.
Content management experience a plus.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Highly motivated self-starter.
Able to balance competing priorities.
