Illuminate Education is a market-leading Software as a Service (SaaS) student assessment and reporting platform used by K-12 administrators and educators to measure, analyze, and subsequently improve classroom and school-wide learning.


The Senior Data & Systems Analyst will sit on the Finance department, specifically under the FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) team.  S/he will serve as intake point for reporting requests, documenting requirements and working with systems/IT, and business teams to ensure that reporting is flexible and scalable. Prepares and maintains data reporting dashboards in a timely and accurate fashion to all relevant stakeholders.  Responsible for:

  • Creating reports, analyzing data and reports, report findings to related team leaders.
  • Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.

  • Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.

  • Updating, implementing and maintaining procedures.

  • Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.

  • Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.

  • Staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, systems, or technology; MBA or MIS is preferred.

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in business analysis or a related field.

  • Exceptional skills in Salesforce data models and systems integrations.

  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

  • Experience with Financial systems preferred (Netsuite, Adaptive, etc.)

  • Advanced technical skills.

  • Excellent documentation skills.

  • Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.

  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
