Illuminate Education is a market-leading software (SaaS) student assessment and reporting platform used by K-12 administrators and educators to measure, analyze, and subsequently improve classroom and school-wide learning.
The Data Services Project Manager is responsible for overseeing Illuminate data integration projects from beginning to end. Responsibilities include developing a project plan, communication plan, allocating tasks and setting milestones, and tracking the status of the project over time. This role will facilitate efficiency of data integration, be the link to other stakeholders, and work with the program manager to ensure projects are progressing as scheduled.
Work with customers and the Illuminate Customer Experience teams to plan and implement projects.
Monitor and report on project progress and assess results of project.
Ensure that tasks are being completed and progressing against timeline.
Oversee multiple projects from beginning to end.
Ensure that all project deliverables are completed.
Actively manage priorities of multiple incoming projects.
Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project goals.
Organize cross-team communications.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Hands-on project management experience.
Familiarity with technical concepts of ETL and data integration.
Excellent time and task management abilities.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Extremely detail-oriented; able to see the big picture.
Results driven, but flexible.
Ability to facilitate conversations, including challenging contexts.
Experience in EdTech a plus.
Experience using Zendesk, Jira, and Confluence a plus.
