Session Description
Close your eyes for a moment and imagine this: It’s the beginning of a new year (or semester/trimester); Illuminate users click one button and instantly have access to multiple data points, all on the same page which allows them to make quick instructional or leadership decisions. Doesn’t this sound great?
Come to this session to learn how to do this and more, including finding or filtering for groups of students who need intervention from existing pre-built reports, and then building custom reports (e.g., spreadsheet-formatted reports) from other data sets currently in your system. We will also be featuring how to build a custom report from Search 2.0 or a duplicate report, how to use filters and sorting, how to add basic calculations, report sharing, and devote time to discover where data resides in your Illuminate instance*. Walk away with at least one custom report template that you can share with your users to launch their inquiry.
*Note: this session will not include form letters & labels, advanced filters, advanced calculations, grouping, window columns, or translations. This session will not cover importing NEW data into the system so please verify with your team that the data you need for your report has been imported into the system.
Prerequisites for the Session
- Familiarity with basic navigation in Illuminate
- Your district needs to have a stable nightly data import into Illuminate.
This session is designed for those who know assessment data resides in Illuminate from state and local sources, but want to know how to pull it together into actionable form
