Illuminate is a Contributing Member to 1EdTech. Illuminate is officially LTI 1.0, LTI 1.1, and LTI Outcomes Service Certified. Many partners employ QTI technology to provide assessment item types that utilize technology enhancements such as graphing, algebraic symbols, and protractors. Illuminate uses 1EdTech’s One Roster export solution for seamless providing of student roster and grade data to other systems (e.g., SIS) and importing grade book data into SchoolCity. Note: CSV flat file structure is required.

Achieve3000

In early 2021, using a Crosswalk document between our FastBridge Screening to Intervention report and Achieve3000 resources, teachers can identify the best next step for supporting the learning needs of students. In addition, Achieve 3000 utilizes Illuminate’s API to populate data in its application.

Aequitas

Users of the Aequitas SIS, Q, can utilize Illuminate’s DnA API to populate data within its application. Additionally, API is utilized in Q to consume staff, student, roster, other data applicable to each of their products. Finally, users can launch DnA online assessments and receive student scores in the Q gradebook. Single Sign-On (SSO) to Illuminate for staff and students is also supported.

Aeries

Users of Aeries SIS can utilize Illuminate’s DnA to populate data within its application. Additionally, API is utilized in Aeries to consume staff, student, roster, other data applicable to each of their products. Finally, users can launch DnA online assessments and receive student scores in the Aeries gradebook. Single Sign-On (SSO) to Illuminate for staff and students is also supported. Check it out!

Amplify

Current clients of Amplify Science can access and administer end of unit assessments via Illuminate DnA and student online testing portal.

Apex

Using a Crosswalk document between Illuminate assessments and Apex Learning Tutorials, teachers can identify the best next step for supporting the learning needs of students.

ASCD

Our CaseNEX professional development course offerings will now include resources from ASCD, such as the ASCD Activate Professional Learning Library. We will also collaborate together on creating meaningful resources for the K12 community.

Users of Blackboard LMS can utilize Illuminate’s DnA API to populate data within its application. Additionally, the eSD API is utilized in Blackboard to consume staff, student, roster, other data applicable to each of their products (Connect, Mass Notifications, etc.). Finally, using the LTI standard, users can launch DnA or SchoolCity online assessments and receive student scores in the Blackboard gradebook via LTI standard (or Blackboard API for DnA).

BrightArrow utilizes Illuminate’s API to populate data in its application.

Brightspace

Users of Brightspace D2L LMS can utilize Illuminate’s DnA and SchoolCity online assessments and receive student scores in Brightspace gradebook using the LTI standard. Additionally, automatic single sign-on (SSO) to DnA and SchoolCity for staff and students is supported.

Buzz

Users of Buzz LMS can utilize Illuminate’s DnA and SchoolCity online assessments and receive student scores in Buzz gradebook using the LTI standard. Additionally, automatic single sign-on (SSO) to DnA and SchoolCity for staff and students is supported.

canvas (Instructure)

Users of Instructure’s LMS, Canvas, can utilize Illuminate’s DnA and SchoolCity online assessments and receive student scores in Canvas gradebook using the LTI standard (and Canvas API for DnA). Additionally, automatic single sign-on (SSO) to DnA and SchoolCity for staff and students is supported. Finally, the eSD automated file export is utilized in Canvas to consume staff, student, and roster data along with assignment and score data. LTI support for eSD has not been tested.

Certica Solutions, Inc.

To help educators assess students’ understanding of concepts and track standards mastery, Certica provides the Navigate Item Bank™ designed to guide instruction at the district and classroom levels. Over 94,000 standards-based items are available with Navigate, as well as pre-built assessments that allow educators to quickly measure student performance. Illuminate utilizes Academic Benchmark GUIDs to seamlessly connect educational standards between internal and external applications.

Choose Love

Choose Love and Illuminate Education’s partnership provides schools with a holistic and comprehensive social-emotional solution. The Social, Academic, and Emotional Behavior Risk Screener (SAEBRS), part of FastBridge K-12 assessment solution, enables schools to easily and accurately identify students that need additional social-emotional support – and Choose Love character education program teaches students, educators and staff how to choose love in any circumstance.

University of Virginia

Through our partnership with the University of Virginia, we offer PALS to our school districts. PALS consists of six literacy assessments, PALS-PreK (for preschool students), PALS-K (for kindergartners), PALS Plus (for students in Grades 1-8), and the PALS español K/1-3 assessments (for students in grades K-3 whose native language is Spanish).
