Highlights:

Grading Constructed Response – NEW options for viewing student constructed responses, accessing the original question, rubric, and the ability to provide student feedback have been released.  In the future, look for even more enhancements to this area and more functionality within the portal. 

Performance Bands – Performance bands can be set up for both assessments and custom reports to set cut scores, mastery levels, and color code data to make it pop.  Now there is also a more seamless workflow for creating performance bands from inside of an assessment.

Hybrid Assessments – This was released last month but we’ve had such an amazing response that we thought we’d share some creative applications of this new feature.  Have you thought about using Illuminate for an online practice ACT, AP, or SAT test or even a translated test?  How about using Illuminate to administer an online survey or a foundational reading skills assessment?  To learn more try our HELP lesson for Hybrid Assessments and video tutorials with Illuminate U! for Hybrids.

School Announcements – If you are using our Secondary Report Card feature, you can now add a school announcement and map it to your report card.
