v8.4 Release Highlight – assessment feedback to improve learning

A highly requested feature is the new Annotation for Constructed Response Grading. Teachers can give specific feedback on essays/constructed response answers from their students in Illuminate. Student use that feedback to improve their learning!

How does it work? 

1. Create a formative assessment to be administered online. Learn more about assessment creation in Illuminate here.
2. Administer the assessment.
3. Teachers view and grade the responses in Illuminate.
4. Students log into the portal to access the assessment and view feedback from their teacher.
