DnA Implementation

Teachers and administrators use DnA to develop and administer various assessments, capture multiple sources of data, inform instruction according to student strengths and weaknesses, and direct students to tiered and appropriate resources needed to support specific, targeted standards. The platform allows educators to have access to a singular ecosystem of continuous feedback to improve student performance and make sure no student falls through the cracks.

Even with the best planning and tactics, the implementation process will still have its challenges. Our job is to guide you through this process, but in order for it to work, you must own the change management your organization will experience.

At Illuminate, we are dedicated to helping you through these dips in the road in order to successfully reach that Plateau of Productivity (Gartner Hype Cycle).

“Any strategy of change must simultaneously focus on changing individuals and the culture or system within which they work.”

A successful implementation takes a village. Interconnected teams share responsibility and accountability for accomplishing the implementation goals. Who are the key players?

District Leadership Team (DLT)

A successful implementation requires a collaborative district team. This team will drive your Illuminate implementation from the district level and its initial objectives are to identify the vision, goals and plan for using Illuminate to support the district goals. View the District Implementation Team for examples of likely members, roles, and critical responsibilities.

Customer Success Manager (CSM)

Your designated Customer Success Manager will be your guide, partner, and mentor throughout our partnership. After a successful rollout, we will continue to work hand-in-hand to support you in becoming more independent, self sufficient, and innovative Illuminators.

Data Team

This team will serve to guide you in the import of your core data from your student information system.

Support Team (Help Desk)

This team is available to support users at your district with questions or troubleshooting needs that may come up while working in the system. The support team is available by phone or email Monday-Friday from 8am to 5pm PST to all users.

One of the biggest challenges in any new system rollout is data integration. At Illuminate, we take this process very seriously and have invested lots of resources into creating tools to help our clients. Click here to get a better idea of how data integration works in Illuminate. DnA clients initially can focus solely on the Core Data Specs. ISI clients, since there is so much data to migrate during an ISI migration, will track their data progress via the internal Data Implementation Notes document they share with their Implementation Manager.
Remember, the more thorough you are in planning, the smoother the data process will be!

After you decide to implement DnA, you will be sent a welcome email from our Data Team outlining next steps. Make sure your data experts are ready to start uploading as soon as possible since this process can take anywhere from two to eight weeks.
